BennyS 1
Folks, KP & S Nets seem to be selling sheet nets at pretty good value? Are they difficult to make into purse nets? Apologies if this has been covered before. If it has maybe someone can point me in the right direction. Cheers Benny Quote Link to post

Cheers Benny sheet netting is by far the quickest and easyest method of making purse nets ,select the length you want cut to size and stich your rings onto the net net or make your net two meshes longer and halfhitch the net onto the rings by sliding the ring over the end of the net then pass the rest of the net through the end meshes secure with tape add your bands and a peg your away i would go for the heavy 10z as this makes a good net ,there are some net sellers who sell nets made from sheet netting and the rings are not stiched correctly and in a short while the rings come away iv recently had to do over 50 nets i acuired from a trader at a gme fair on a deal for snares i had never seen the nets prior to arrival at my house if i had i would not have been so eager ,do the job yourself and you know you have no problems the nylon nets have the advantage of being prety strong and do not rot as easy as hemp or spun poly if left wet for a while Quote Link to post

netrigger 568
i would go for the heavy 10z as this makes a good net ,there are some net sellers who sell nets made from sheet netting and the rings are not stiched correctly and in a short while the rings come away iv recently had to do over 50 nets i acuired from a trader at a gme fair on a deal for snares i had never seen the nets prior to arrival at my house if i had i would not have been so eager , Heres a shot of shabby workmanship when it comes to stitching Rings onto sheet netting!! could this net be from the same Trader Quote Link to post

You wouldn't recommend their nets then? Quote Link to post
