robsharpe 1
well i had a half day hol to take so woodga blaze and me set out for an afternoon of mooching ,the idea being blaze to bush them out woodga and me taking turns to shoot well that was the plan ,but blaze being blaze he is too good at what he does catching them out the reeds long before they have time to run for safety but what an afternoon apart from the cold wind blowing you inside out it was a cracking afternoons mooch thanks again colin and blaze , i dont own dogs but it makes you feel good seeing him work , wether it be the reeds or picking his way along the dry stone walls marking them for us to crop a few of the lot i took Quote Link to post

Deker 3,491
Not sure about Dog V Gun.....they both have a place and a good dog is a real asset, even if you have a gun in your hand!! Quote Link to post
claybusers al 9
great pics there is no contest between dog and gun they are equal Quote Link to post
woodga 170
what an afternoons sport it was absolutely freezing cold with a strong wind the dog was working imto the wind hunting up the rushes and reeds picking rabbits form small clumps of grass you wouldn,t have given a second glance as rob said the dog is to good as most of the time he is right on the rabbits tail making a safe shot impossible it was a pleasure watching him do his thing and when rob got four rabbits off one stand that made the day . a pity it had to end cant wait till next time Edited January 17, 2009 by woodga Quote Link to post
