Sleeping on the job.

Recommended Posts

If you read the old books you will always hear of ferrets killing and going to sleep next to the warm carcuss. Has anyone actually experianced this? I havent dug as much as you old timers lol but I have had a fair few digs and never once broken through to a asleep ferret lol.

Is it a case of ferrets are better treated now with proper feeding and living conditions so they dont feel the need to stay down after a good meal of bunny?

Have you ever broken though to a ferret getting some shut eye lol?

an old ferreters tale!

I reckon in days gone by, they presumed by the lack of action that the ferret had fallen asleep, these days we can locate and track the ferret and know that although we haven't seen the ferret for a little while its still moving around!

and people are a lot more ready and willing to dig now than in the past when they had to use a liner etc.....

unless your ferret has narcolepsy....its not going to be dropping asleep in a warren :D
