ferretiing to day in the gales

we were out again today and the winds were that strong you could hardly here the locator box as we were locating ferrets that had been under ground for a while i was really supprised at the ammount of rabbits which actually hit the nets today :notworthy: normally in strong winds the rabbits refuse to bolt and digging is the order of the day

we had done this fence line only two weeks previously

we ended the day on 54 rabbits not bad considering they had only been done two weeks ago :clapper:

7th picture down,whats that on the right hand side of the fence? looks like a box or run of some sort?

yes thats the remains of an old wooden drop box trap there are actually holes inside that old box now i normally have a fewbody grip traps along the mesh where the rabbits have made holes through the wire very productive :clapper:

you must of had a fecking huge amount of bad days for rabbits like that in a gale :o happy hunting mate.
