nowt to do with hunting i know took battery off car earlier to do a little job connected it all back up to find that i didnt have the code for radio could anyone suggest where i could get hold of the code what do i do or who do i contact any help much appreciated

ring up your nearest ford dealer maybe or try on the ford website under help or troubleshoot or something mate ?

i think the code is in the vehicle hanbook.. used to be in mine

you actually need the serial number to get code but i cant get radio out lol and ive lost the handbook

take to your ford dealer and it costs about 10 quid

take the radio out and get it decoded, costs about £15/20,,,,,,,, @ a car audio centre

if the radio is the one fitted to the car when new , take your log book and ID to a ford agent and ask for the code , they can do it off the chassis number but will need to know the car is yours , if they wont do that they may charge you for a mechanic to come do it , which may cost about £15 pound but he will also tell you the code.

cost me £15 at my ford dealer , they take it out and 30 seconds later come back with the code ..

you can get it on the web but you need the number from the back of the radio

How Is It fixed In on fords, the radio? If all they do Is take It out for you you may aswell do that and give them the number and see If they will do It for nowt. Is there a hole each corner of the radio? Get 4 small screwdrivers, bits of wire etc and poke them in there hard and the radio should just pull out then. Will probably be abit stiff If you've not had It out before
