OldNog 432
COLD SNAP MY ARSE what a waste of time! My permission is on the same farm, but spread over 3 different areas local to me. Got up at 630, got the motor loaded, my bag of gear ready and a good strong coffee. Left the house at 7 for the first spot which i was quite excited about. Is a new hole, literally opened in the last fortnight....nothing home. My bitch didnt even fancy going down it for a look. Back in the motor for the second venue. This part of the farm is where i first found my very first fox hole but hasnt held since the first time i tried it although the fox has been back there since. Let the bitch sniff the hole, not intrested. Tried another sinlge hole that hasnt been ran this year so i wasnt hopeful but still worth a look....nothing. Agian my bitch werent even intrested in going down. Finally off to the last place. Have had rabbit holes dug out by a 'visitor' here just lately but saw 2 foxes around here in the lamp about a month ago whislt having a wonder about. First place ( 2 hole rabbot place), nothing. Second place, a new rabbit excavtion and the bitch was lunging at the hole trying to get at it! Looked at the kick out and was covered in 'visitor' boot marks so i walked away completly not bothered and definatly not tempted So, no dig, soggy dog and soggy owner. Took a few photos of her though cheers (sorry for waffling!) Quote Link to post

threbb 0
Its nice in a way to hear someone else in the same boat as myself. It makes a change to hear about the bad days instead of the braggers. Quote Link to post
