hi

not familiar with these guns, as to gas rams there should be very minimal recoil if any I'm sure? but then I'm no expert on these just what i have read hope this helps

regards

ps

just found this

Theoben; high quality parts and materials means very low maintenance and the H.E. system means almost no recoil, making it very easy to shoot.

my experience with the gas ram was good but some love them others hate them, they require very little maintenance as long as you dont get one that leaks. There is recoil its a fast snap so dont get your eye too close to the scope. Some people suffer with accuracy because of the recoil.

Hi.

I've owned many spring guns over the years and I love the simple, reliable nature of these guns. However, I got fed up with having to replace springs when I needed to keep the guns cocked for a long time when hunting. Leaving the gun un-cocked, then seeing my quary leg it at the sound me loading my rifle was not funny!

I've owned an HW90 for about ten years now and I really find it hard to fault. It has all the pros of a springer, with few cons....

It does recoil sharply, but so long as you have a light hold on the gun, it's not a problem.

The gun is very well made and at this rate, will probably last longer than me!

The only negative I could say with my paticular gun, it's very ammo sensative... Many top brand pellet's were hopeless. After some patience I found Bisley Magnums gave one hole groups at 40 yards (177) . I love these pellets. They fly fast and hit very hard!!

thats unlucky my hw90 was amazing with loads of pellets from gamo watch up to bisley magnums.

i used flat head matchpels, brilliant on close up rabbits.

some b*****d stole the gun from my car

Yeah. I think it's a quirk with my gun. I've owned many HW guns (35, 80, 77, 77K, 45) and had no problem like this before. This is the first one I've had in .177 but even then, I've not spoken to any one who's had the same trouble.

I'm very happy it likes the Magnums though as they do have a superb ballistic performance down-range.... Very accurate and they keep their energy better than most.

Never rated them in .22 (sub FAC), as they are soooo slow.
