on my MK1 box, when you open up the back, it says MK3 on the wheel. It is only an 8ft wheel so i presume they are the same.

I dont even use my mk1 but its just sitting there so I will try to fix it. Will ring deben tommorow.

 

How much are mk1 collars going for now? I have 3 or 4, may be worth just selling.

Deben no longer sell mark 1 parts, I used to sell a lot of whel kits and the last time I tried to get parts from them they said they had scraped all mark 1 parts, supose it's to make folk buy mark 3 locators

Aperently there where 11 types of the mk1 made so all you have is one of the early mk1's

That's correct, there were different types of the mark 1. Got a couple, but don't know the difference?

Guess they improved the components but as they scored all the numbers off we will never know the only givaway is the wee number stuck on the depth wheel

Don't bin em, broken or not, they are selling for stupid money on the flea bay, same with the collars.

Will, the mk3 is digital, it doesn't have a wheel, i'm just guessing but i'd say what you have is the 3rd version of the mk1 wheel.
