your pup won't be physically mature until about 12-18 months depending on its make up, don't be tempted to run it until its ready, any other factors to weight loss, change of home, diet, no change see vet.

When you first start running a pup they are learning and they learn by their mistakes so yes pups should be expected to miss some BUT at such a young age you shouldnt give them challenging runs, make it easy for them to gain in their confidence. I personally wouldnt run my pup so young, theres no rush with it, take your time and there will be many happy years to come :)

They can do mate, at that age they aint learnt the ropes, pick the runs give the pup the advantage, sort out the weight loss first, don't overdo until physically and mentally fit. good luck

If you're feeding him raw rabbit without freezing it first he's probably picking up worms from them. Worm him, but use a good quality wormer, not stuff from the pet shop - it's usually not very effective. If you want to put wait o him, feed him lamb and tripe - usually does the trick ;)

Theres a few problems with working a pup and one is that they need the energy from their food to grow and keep condition, if you work aswell there has to be a compromise somewhere with in the pup. Theres nothing wrong with gradually starting the pup to work now but maybe once a week for a couple of easy slips, if it catches on a slip then GO HOME ending on a good note and if it doesnt dont be tempted to go overboard, at this age you would be setting your puppy up to fail before it has even started.

Has he just lost some weight, or is he continuously losing it???

Maybe he's had a growth spurt and filled his frame a little, mine went through differing weights until he was fully grown!!!!!

But as above, check his diet, housing and worming!!!!
