leave or retrieve?

Recommended Posts

just wondering what you guys do i shoot from my sniper spot on one of my permissions from a natural hide out into open field usually the bunnies drop about 10 yards from theyre hedge and i always retrieve asap so i just wondered if dropping them and leaving them makes any difference i.e willdead bunnies spook more than me trotting and clambering out to retrieve?

cheers gaz

I always leave them where they fall when i'm sniping.I've seen other rabbits sniffing them & even start cleaning themselves next to their deceased friend.Which in turn keeps your range finding spot on as another AA Field connects to it's napper :gunsmilie:

leave them, and just keep in mind how many youve shot, you ahve a chance that you have a nice head shot and it wont kick at all, and youll be able to take more than one in the same 5 minutes :D

we were shooting with shotguns one day on one of my veryfew shooting trips of the year. the bloke who ones the guns didnt have much ammo so we brounght some cheapies, #4's and we didnt take 1 home. very close action and no poing in keepiung them . :D
