uru 341 Posted November 3, 2008 Report Share Posted November 3, 2008 Chb Lad, WE have never done that cross,but many years ago,my father owned some fox terriers that were full of grit,and aside from the color,and those skinny heads,you would have thought that "they" were patterdales .But my reason for saying that,is based upon "those" Fox terriers,I think if they are a representative of the breed as a whole,it could make a fair cross.Do you have any pictures?I'd love to see them.I haven't seen a Fox terrier in yrs craig Quote Link to post

IMO if you are after proper workers then you are just about to waste the next 2 years rearing these pups. stick to workers from working stock in working breeds.its still hard to get them right but if you start adding non working blood then your just asking for trouble.
