will.f11 24
I always say gut as they weigh more ungutted and also they sting up the ferret houses more when i dont gut, as guts are more easy for them to hide... Quote Link to post
dytkos 18,005
I always say gut as they weigh more ungutted and also they sting up the ferret houses more when i dont gut, as guts are more easy for them to hide... When lamping, guts out at a convenient place, or when approaching a full rucksack, especially if shooting as the bag generally fills quicker. When ferreting, leave the guts in, keep them in the shade till you've finished to keep the flys off. Cheers, D. Quote Link to post
brassring 2
most carnivores eat the stomach contents first for the fibre and trace elements but if their for me i gut Quote Link to post
masmiffy 82
i feed my ferrets at the moment dry and birds such as crows or woodies, when you feed them rabbits do you freeze them first to get rid of all the fleas and ticks.... Jazz fleas need a 'warm' host. If you leave bunnies to get cold there are rarely any fleas on em! Quote Link to post
