if you really want to tame them mate youll have to put up with a few nasty bites but sooner or later theyll come round a ferret cant really bite you if you hold it with your hand round its neckits front legs between your 2 fingers and the rest down its body because it cant turn its head and handle them that way and theyll get more used to handling but the biting if they bite you when your handling them i just push my nuckle of my finger in their mouth because they dont like it youll have a bloody sore knuckle mate but if you really want to tame them thats what you need to do and with holding them in the way they cant bite you theyll get used to getting handled but youll also need to stop the biting by doing that when they bite you, well thats what i would do anyway, some ferrets come round by just handling our old jill we got when she was a year old she had been used for rats and would have took your fingers off but just handling all the time stopped her but depends on the ferret.

If they are wild and don't like being touched at all try giving them some milk or something else they have to lap up and then when their lapping try stroking them to get them used to being touched, then after a while pick them up.Do this often then they will slowly get used to being handled,i would wait till their a bit tammer mate before working them but like others have said don't give up on them as the sport they can give a few sore knuckles is a cheep price to pay.I allways use the knuckle in the mouth and use the method on any kits that try their luck with my fingers and have had great results.Good luck mate
