I would have deleted it also due to a certain word involved, which doesn't need to be repeated. Simoman hit the nail on the head on two counts. Look through the member groups and count the number of mods, then look for the number of members on this site, work out how many each mod has to cover. It's a lot. Not everything gets viewed. Not to give you a short answer, it's just the one that comes to my mind, but if a post were to fall foul of the posted rules I don't think I'd give an explanation either. They're posted to be read and followed. If there's a more ambigious post, like two people arguing, or somethign that's been reported that's not so cut and dried I'd tend to PM the people concerned. The reality of being a mod here is none of us get paid, and all of us are giving up our own free time to do it. As you know yourself life can get busy, and when you're dealing witht he same thing day in day out you tend to just get the thing done I figure, read the rules once at least, use a bit of common sense and one golden tip I'd give for dealing with mods is just be normal and a bit polite, which you have been in this post . Not crawling or any of that shite, just normal chat asking questions about whatever, because I guarentee when someone comes at me anyway spouting off and firing abuse then tend to run into a brick wall Quote Link to post Share on other sites
