jimb 30
Never heard fo wild polecats in Scotland more than likely an escaped worker Quote Link to post
Meerihunter 7
Very surprising that it survived a mk6, mk4's are a bit weak for mink, ferrets but the mk6! Best of luck with him, I caught a feral ferret a couple of years back and he is doing well now. Quote Link to post
gnipper 6,899
Must have been a solway mk6 Quote Link to post
Malt 379
We caught a poley in a fenn once, it was smashed to pieces but was still trying to kill us as we tried to remove it, they're tough little buggers. You should be aware that the animal has probably suffered some sort of internal damage, even though it might appear to look healthy from the outside. I'd be extremely surprised if the animal has escaped from the trap unharmed, the first thing you should do is consult a vet. Also it should be pointed out that if it's a wild poley, it's against the law to take it into captivity.... Quote Link to post
