richie 1 Posted August 28, 2008 Report Share Posted August 28, 2008 call the operator & they will put you through to a department which will set up a trace on your line... how it works is, whenever you get a nuisense call, someone ringing & hanging up when you answer it, they will give you a code to dial straight away which will log that number to their department, now if that same number does it more than once they will hand the details to the authorities but wont allow you to have the callers number.. i had the same problem years back.. They do it all the time in the shops..If a character appears first as oppossed to a number, then that handset has been or is being tapped...They use it all the time on drug dealers mate, An aquintance of mine throws a phone away if anyone asks for anything via text, as the police will recover that text in seconds..Something to think about before sending your end on night photographs....
