does it make any diffrence to how a working dog will perform if its living out or in ?

 

Only if it takes over the remote control...no wont make any difference

apart from a dog that lives out side will not feel the cold.A dog that lives inside will feel the cold when it gose outside Edited by hob__ferret

i been thinking exactly same i keep pup in back room at night or when raining (staying with ex for another 5 wks) been wondering if he will be a soft ass for staying inside as ive always kept em outside in box. :hmm:

I like having mine in, easier to keep an eye on them. Saying that, when they've been out getting all mucky and rolling in shit, I wish I had a kennel to let them dry off in before I let them into the house to stink the place up :D I would think that having them in with the family would make them more bonded to you as well, imo.

kennels dogs are animals surely central heating cant do any good for them. outside on some straw is fine

 

air flow helps , there is a steady reliable source of warmth with clean fresh air flow, much better than central heating , look at what it does to our skin ! wont have unheated kennels as dogs are better with warmth and also if injuried the warm to the muscles aids recovery , therefore reducing time out through injury , also when working dogs we always do some sort of warm up exercise before working again reducing the risk of injury, so by sleeping or resting with warm surroundings you reduce the risk many times over , they work hard for me so why shouldnt you give back to team members?
