Question On My Set Up

Getting two ferrets in a couple of days and was wondering if my set up would be a little too taxing for the ferrets to get onto the second level. What have at the moment is a pair of cricket trousers, with the legs trailing down off the higher ledge onto the ground floor. Would a ferret be able to climb up the inside of a trouser leg in order to get up, or will I have to add a ramp or something?

 

Too dark to take a photo at the moment, but if you understand my description then please reply. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

I'd add a ramp, although the trousers wont pose a problem for ferrets, you'll find they become dirty very quickly, from the oils in the ferrets coat, and also make a great hiding place for meat, although you may clean out each day, the residue/blood from the meat would quickly soak into the trousers, making it an ideal attraction to flies, which will also then start laying eggs,

 

a simple wooden ramp is the better solution

As stubby says add a ramp but mine allways climb up my trousers lol scare's the hell out of me thinking if they bite lol

I would put a ramp in as the ferrets may find it easy to get up the trouser legs but not down them
