Guest Magwitch
Friday night saw me and Richie out reducing the local rabbit population. The evening started slow but the pot started to fill when the light faded and we switched over to the lamp and red filter. The total bag were 60 good sized rabbits, a very good evening indeed Richie will add a few more pics as i suffered a camera malfunction. Quote Link to post
richie 1
this is the only decent photo i got from last night, to be honest, there wasnt time to take any photos through the night, the land was alive... as pat says, in total we collected 60 & i reckon between 10 to 20 were left as we couldnt see where they fell in the shrubbery.... pat was using the anchultz, & i was using my cz varmint pictured below.. Thanks Richy. going off the topic a bit but thinking of getting a small 4x4 like the Jimny are they ok for off road hunting & how are they on fuel and tax etc, i like the look of them there a top little motor, not the biggest inside, but for me its perfect.. i fold the back seats away & can get whatever i need to, be it for ferreting or shooting. insurance, tax is cheap & the fuel, i can put £37 in it & i get 240 miles out of it... the 4x4 is good too, low 4 wheel will pull me out of anywhere that i go, even with road tyres on... definately worth getting.
