Out for an hour

Hi all,

Went to one of my permissions today, never been shooting on it before mainly ferreting and snaring. The last time i visited it was around a year ago and there wasnt much there then so i decided to give it a try and i have to say it was worth it!

Anyway arrived there about 6 ish and walked around the farm to get my bearings again (forgot the way around there now :icon_redface::laugh:) and i must have saw around 15 rabbits bolting into the hedges as soon as i entered the first field!

So i decided to walk the rest of the farm and stalk them later when i came back round so after seeing about 30 rabbits all together (they mast hav had a good breeding season this year  i settled down on a hedge with my bipod and waited for about 20 minutes, nothing.

Then i spotted a rabbit on its own in the corner of the field about 100yds away so i crawled (and i mean crawled) about 70 yds :o:laugh: my hands were stinking and it had started to rain, so anyway i got within 30yds and i looked at him through the scope, just a blur, the scope was covered in raindrops so i cleaned it roughly with my finger and looking through a still very blurry scope i sent the pellet on its way to the rabbit.

He fell over and the pellet hit the tin sheeting behind him (theres a .177 for ya lol) didnt even kick so i collected him and as it had started to rain i decided to come back on monday to get the rest of them ;).
