maffp 0
Hi! Just bagged myself a pheasant today. The problem is I go on holiday after work today for 5/6 days. Should I hang it in the fridge and deal with it when I get back? Or freeze it? I've heard people say you hsould hang them outside but the weather's warm at the moment and I don't like the idea of leaving it for the flies. Cheers!
Gav 1,708
Its not the season to shoot them yet http://www.basc.org.uk/content/shootingseasons
maffp 0
I wouldn't know because I don't have a gun! It's roadkill! Edit: Sorry, I should've made that clearer in the original post. Edited July 30, 2008 by maffp
Ricky-N.p.p 0
eaiest option is just to cut the breast or crown off and freeze it .
Tyla 3,179
i cant be doing with hanging them and, especially with roadkill at this time of year, its likely to end up rotten. i just take the breast and leg meat and treat it as chicken. Tasty!
