FRED DIBNAH.

Recommended Posts

If Fed Dibnah would have been a history teacher, we'd all have A levels, a real character and a treasure of a bloke, what about that shitty old landrover with the ladder rack made from scaffold poles, marvellous....

They don't make em like 'im anymore, legend.

I've got his autobiography here my mum bought me and the lad who he nearly drowned in a boat made of wheels and a tarpaulin was doing a spraying course at our work last year and he could tell some tales about Fred.

Fred is a legend, sadly taken from us too soon. I would have loved to be part of his world, all his friends had total respect for the man and he won the argument every time.

I worked on 2 jobs with Fred, the guy had forgot more then we had learnt. A real gent and was willing to teach without being patronising, fame was a novelty and it did not change him one bit. A definate legend. :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

he is a legend,

loved all his stuff, esp his final programmes where he was constructing a deep mine in his garden complete with pit-head gear, which is a project that he didnt finish sadly
