This is for youngsters and noobies hot weather is a killer for ferrets and if you are getting a ferret this summer make sure the cage or court is in a shaded area, just thought i would point this out for the novices

Very good reminder Patrick, yesterday mine were lifeless all day & there in the coolest part of the garden , just ensure they have water & if it gets really hot look in the pinned section theres some ideas off how to keep the ferrets cool in the heat

Cant see the one i use i just 3/4 fill a two litre plastic bottle with water pop them in the freezer then into the nest compartment and have a fresh pair ready for the next day in the freezer . Its fine because i have my own freezer in the shed
