A fair few rats and mice this year more than I ever remember in past seasons. A couple of stoats thats as exciting as it got lol.

Hundreds of wasps!! I was ferreting in a wood, the ferret kept comming out of a wee warren, when I knew it was occupied, so I kept putting him back in, there was holes behind me, I nelt down.... AAAAARRGGH !!!!! Felt like Id got a load of nettles between my legs! But I was covered in WASPS!! I grabbed the pissed off ferret and legged it!! Had about ten stings on the back of my legs

Ive bolted one or two rabbits and rats!lol Also quite a lot of stoats, a couple of weasels, and two foxes.

Shellduck, rats, stoats and a cat but that doesn't count coz the ferret didn't let it bolt and by the time we broke through it was well past its sell by date

Never known one to bolt they just curl up and the ferret goes daft at it ,then you got to dig your ferrets out and check for flea's

a mate of mine in his early days bolted a wildcat , he was ferreting near the sea on the banks when it bolted it came out at such a pace it went down the banks into the sea with the net , so that was the end of him
