Great! Nice to start them off as you mean to go on.

Exactly.. i'm finding the need to do a lil whole food education for those pet homes that have reserved kits... but as they've seen how mine enjoy their raw meat and how white the bones keep their teeth... and explaining how healthy it is for them... i'm hoping even they will go home to continue a raw meat diet too.. and there's no denying they are enjoying it lol

mine dont have rabbit, i cant get rabbit here,

they have day old chicks, raw wings and beef mince along with their kibble

i must say the nicest kit i ever had is a copper hob from a worker last year, he was fed on whole pheasants and rabbits from aged 4 weeks, he is a beast and one of the biggest ferrets i own and has a lovely temprament

my litter of five, now 32 days old, one jill has an eye open, normally the jill hoardes the evening rabbit in a corner to herself, this evening, a kitt jill, with eye's still shut came wandering out and clamped onto a piece that mum was chewing, with that, she dropped the piece, took another from the bowl, and gave it to the 4 in the sleeping box, deffo a joy to watch,

Just my opinion, I think you have made a mistake by taking the kits out of the nest to feed them. When the jill thinks they need meat she will take it to them she knows what is best for her babies :icon_eek: I would not advise handling the young until the jill lets them out of the nest.If she thinks they are in danger she will eat them.Good luck but I hope you don't need it. :wallbash:

She's been fine with me close by and handling her kits.. perhaps its just knowing your jill... thanks for the advice though and the wish of good luck!
