mark01856 7 Posted March 31, 2008 Report Share Posted March 31, 2008 I am wanting to get my FAC as my dad has a Ruger 10/22, and a .22 magnum(i think) and is going to give me his rifles when i get my licence, problem is i have no land, no real reason to have a rifle and not in a gun club(well will be this week) im no fool, i know there is no point in even applying yet. until i get land to shoot, and real need for one. this is where my question is. How much permissions would i need to have, and even if i had permission i have only been in the area for a short time so no farmer can say they have known me for more than 2 years, or whatever it is ment to be. What will i need to do? more land? more variety of game or vermin to shoot? i really am clueless with this. any help will be much apreciated Quote Link to post

Hi when i got my fac air rifle it was cleared on 46 acres but not on the other 10 i had as it was deemed too narrow and too flat so all you can do is ask i now have an open licence on my rimfire which i use on all the land i shoot over arcpest Quote Link to post
