Guest joe ox
Went out on monday night, the first slip of the night the dog followed into the wood after 10 minutes came back with this injury. It was actually worse than it looks in the picture because it was ripped right into the muscle and was about 2 inchs long! After his trip to the vets. Quote Link to post

Bosun11 537
Unlucky Joe, wish him/her a speedy recovery for you. It can be a real bonus with a dog that will hit cover hard behind its quarry, taking game where many would fail, i've always admired such dogs and owned a few but the dangers of such determination...... Guest joe ox
Paul, with rest the wound should be fully healed in 3 to 4 weeks at most. He is a experienced dog with bags of prey drive so I dont think he will be put off. Quote Link to post

It was actually worse than it looks in the picture because it was ripped right into the muscle and was about 2 inchs long! we had the same happen Monday night. mates dog on its last run of the night, ran one into some woods and needed six stitches. Good to see you putting pictures up even if it is of some bad luck. Quote Link to post
