Guest Magwitch Posted February 23, 2008 Report Share Posted February 23, 2008 (edited) Had two fellow Hunting Life members Richie and Stubby out with me today helping to reduce the rabbits not only in the orchard but also the farmers front garden, good company has always and we managed to bag 18 + 1 tiddler retrieved brown bread to hand by Brian my small albino hob bless him. stubby 175 Posted February 23, 2008 Report Share Posted February 23, 2008 was a great day out, nice to meet you richie, as always it was a great days ferreting, barring the last hour that saw me fretting, as my 2 jills were nowhere to be seen on a hedgerow we had netted with the longnets, a few false digs and we knew there were babies down there, as magwith's ferret had trotted out with one in her mouth, like a dog with a bone, all ended well though as pat suggested one of mine, might have gone further up the hedgerow than expected, sure enough, a quick scan with the mk3 led us to her, at the same time that richie picked up my other jill, was dreading having to go without finding them anyway, heres a few pictures that I took, and as promised richie, none with ya face on, oh, and pat, the pipes gonna work great mate, cheers Quote Link to post

Cheers lads That picture of you shows off your spare tyre Pat ,have you been at the Sherbet Dips again?,Glad you had a good day R and I did too after a slow start ,the ground was a bit hard so we stuck to the wheat and rape,I will ring R on the next farm up for some lamping in the week ,probably going to Cambridge with A and R Teu and SuffolK Fri so we will have to shoot mid week most likely Wed night will speak to you soon Inan.
