lurchergrrl 1,441
half the time its the feckin parents buying the stuff ban f****n alcohol i say! everyone should go out and get stoned on a friday night instead, nobody could be arsed fighting or giving shit then and the only things gettin robbed would be sweety shops Ya, then there'd be an uproar over all the teens who've been getting fat 'cause they're sat round on their moneymakers smoking joints, eating doritos and playing video games The only fights that would break out would be over who ate the last doughnut. cymruguy69 5
tesco are worse then that now missie. me a mate and a women who was over 30 went in i got some drink but wasnt allowed to pay for it as even tho i had my ID the women didnt have hers they told me that i had to come back on myself as they cannot sell any alcohol to anyone at anytime unless everyone with them is over 18 and has ID. so i went back this little twat of a security guard said "NOOOO we have them on CCTV waiting for you" ofcourse there going to wait for me im pretty sure he just wanted me to kick off to have a good story to tell his mates Exactly the same thing happend to me!! So I said to him if my mate came in with his 4 year old daughter and bought a slab does that mean you wouldnt sell it to him??? He said thats diffrent she won't be drinkin the beer! I said well my mate here (who didnt have ID) wont be drinkin the beer! So the stupid security guard said you can't prove that!! I told him Id film it and post it to him! At the end of the day I bought the beer and I drunk it!!

The Sporting Agent 0
My16yr old niece got in trouble recently for being drunk and causing a bloody nuisance, she isn't normally like that at home, and when i spoke to her she told me she bought some drink from a local shop because she looks older than her "mates" and it's "cool" to get drunk.so off i went to ask the shop keeper why he sold the drink to her, Reply was "well we can't check all the kids that come in here" Well i stopped using said shop, went past recently, still selling beer to kids, losing my custom made no difference at all. Had a disscusion today and seems to me one person can't make any difference, but someone suggested the major problem is the press are glorifying bad behaviour, ie cocain Kate, pete docherty, most footballers, etc. I think parents have a lot of responsibility, but i must agree the press have a lot to answer for. Seems to me it was mainly the press that got hunting banned too. What do you think? I TOTALLY agree. You only have to look at Amy Winehouse....she's glamourised like nothing else; sure she's got a great voice but she's a waster. In any real walk of life you would not last two minutes being like her, in a real world with a real job; but her and the likes of her are made to look cool and glam; and kids not only want to emulate them but they see it as being ok because these people are a "success" and get away with it. They need lots of help, and NO publicity.....

harrycatcat 31
Stop drinking on the streets as they do in America and raise the drinking age to 21 as they still have 50 years to drink if they want to. Or be stricter with the ones that get out of their heads on booze. But dont put the price up for us old tw*ts it only gives us more to moan about.
Hob&Jill 258
raise the drinking age to 21 Do you honestly believe that will make a difference? Kids of 12 years old go out with a bottle of cider and get pissed, and obviously it isnt legal to drink at 12. Why would making the age 21 change anything?

Why did you just pick that part of my post ? There was an OR in there. I still believe that the laws that we have should be enforced more rigerously and the 12 year old you quote their parents should be punished. See how fast they make them behave then. ChrisJones 7,975
Ring your local Trading Standards and have a discrete word with them, they don't always know there's a problem until someone tells them. Good advice. Them or the Licensing Department. They're the ones that grant alcohol licenses.
