For what you mainly do, and this is my own view, would a dash of collie/sheepdog not be suitable, along with the beddy/whip/grey?

Never been a fan of collie blood I've seen a few and they've been good in there own right......but at the same time they've all been quirky hard headed weirdos🤣 nothing against them just not my cuppa tea👍

I agree with both of you! 😄 👍

As in, the best catch dog that I've ever owned, sire was Hancock's taffy, dam was an extremely greyhoundy, fast mongrel lurcher x greyhound, that looked, to all and intents, a pure greyhound.

But, the c**t did my head in very often, and if it wasn't for the fact he helped me amass a fair amount of money over the years, I'd have shot the c**t!!

Just remembered, one of the reasons I'm not too keen on bedlington crosses, my ex brother in law at the time, owned a whip/grey x beddy, whip/grey owned by walsh beddy owned by Margaret Williamson.

Orrible little c**t. We were out ferreting one day, rabbit bolts through the hedge, with my dog RIGHT behind it as they came through the hedge my brother in law's whip/greyx beddy grabbed my dog by the muzzle and punctured it.

Well, safe to say, after that we saw not so much of each other! Lol.

And, besides that the little c**t had such a good nose, we only took him lamping maybe once a week  little c**t!! Lol

I will say, mind, that whip/grey x beddy had by far the best coat of any beddy cross I've ever seen.

And that was just over 40 years ago.

Just remembered, my ex brother in law's whip/grey x beddy was also a moody little c**t as well.

Years ago we went to our local timber merchant to buy wood to make his dog's kennels a bit bigger.

We had 'him' with us when we went to purchase said timber.

Ties him to a railing outside the timber merchants,  only to receive complaints AGAINST THE LITTLE c**t that he was going for everyone that wanted to get into the said timber merchant's lol.

Orrible little c**t!! 😄

They can be a little strange but a good one takes some beating at its job.
