grompz56 85
Seriously thinking about getting a pure bred non kc bred pup, just for catching the odd rabbit and a bit of ferreting, i know that a few members of here, work them regulary, any comments would be apprecated. Quote Link to post
Moonlighter123 363
From what I’ve seen, they are obviously very fast so ideal for ferreting.. but they can suffer in the cold and wet… if you was ferreting the dales and moors regularly I’d say they would suffer a bit. But if you don’t, I think they would be ideal. Quote Link to post

They more than capable of working dales and moors but if I was on moors regular I’d prefer a bit more height but know a few that do dales regularly no problem 6 minutes ago, grompz56 said: No reason for them being being non kc registered, but i all i know is both parents are not kc , but are pure , thin there is show stock in them, will it make much difference to their working ability, just asking No, just treat it like a whippet and ye be fine 1 Quote Link to post
