Second last pic there is nine Roe in the field, packs of Roe are typically getting bigger, turning into more of a herd species in some areas

I saw a good Roebuck with a doe, and another two or three Roe in the vicinity, not sure if there's much management of deer in the area, but there's been a shooting syndicate here for a long time, it's a good little estate

They always seem to group together at this time of year im told

I wonder if there's that many of them that they have learned to share territory?

In my patch, SW Scotland, its no exaggeration to state there's as many Roe as rabbits. Myxie and the virus RDH2? have decimated rabbits  whilst Roe numbers continue to increase. Land is so flat here that a safe shot when stalking is often difficult and they have no natural predators once they are adult .

I love to see them. By far my favourite deer species.
