Right stupid question fellas, how do you use a thumbstick for walking? When my old man died he left a load of sticks, walking and thumbsticks that he made. I'm having a lot of bother with arthritis when walking and tried one of the thumbsticks last week, seems to help but I have no idea what I am doing with it! Height, which side to use it on etc Seen plenty lads use them and never took any notice. Can't find anything on YouTube.😣

Cheers

I stand up straight , bend my elbow to 90 degrees , then add two inches , as it feels more natural. I always use my right arm , as its stronger . If I was walking very steep hills,  then I'd use two sticks.
