Slowly 😁,, got around 40 yards ,, should have enough twine to get over 50 yards,,

Got given 4 or 5 double strand purse nets when I picked up a couple of kits of a old fella my father knew about 45 year ago. Thought they were great nets, found one in an old bag couple year back and decided to get 2 dozen knocked out. They turned out spot on, I was delighted with them and the memories of using the old ones came flooding back. Pity I've still not put feckin pegs on them😂😂

Back in the day when I used knit my own purse n fox nets. I started out to knit a long net , I only got to about 15 yards and got fed up , so made it into a stop net for ferreting . I was a young lad bang on lamping and chasing skirt when not. So got fed up knitting it, how I wished I would of stuck it out and finished it. I can't remember what year they came out , but I first see  the basket method on vhs by Glen Waters . So my old mate made one up , gotta to be honest I was never that keen on the basket system.
