Jesus Christ , is that what Celtic songs sound like now ? 

a far cry from half a dozen magners upstairs in the supporters club ( no trainers upstairs by the way ) then fifteen mins of carnage in vaults before into the ground . 

who the f**k are making these songs up ?  They sound awful 

a far cry from the usual Wolfe tones and Charlie and the bhoys classics 

seen shebeen a few times in London Road as well

The 'Celtic Symphony" is a Wolfe Tones.

The after match atmosphere when the bhoys have won is something else.

I still think the atmosphere at an auld firm game cannot be bettered anywhere in the world.

In absolutely no way do I know anything about football firms and the hooligan scene but I’ve been going to Celtic games for over 25 years and it’s not really an old firm thing . I was reliably informed that the Celtic firm as it was were told to “pack it In” during the late nineties . 

the term “shirters” I believe is part of the fan culture as fans who wear shirts etc to games , like scarvers , regarded as “civilians “ as such. 

The old firm are an anachronism as the support , particularly 20 odd years ago kinda floats above that realm due to the demographic it draws support from What wolves , stoke etc wont have is thousands of supporters coming over from Ulster every second Saturday in “ ferriens tego” rangers supporters club or “ falls road emeralds “ csc . 

there’s a huge rangers flag , I haven’t seen it in a while , at games , think last time I saw it was about 5 years ago and it’s different now , it’s one of that always catches the eye , like the catterick reds one at Man Utd games in sir Matt busby stand , it’s very simple , it’s says Linwood combat squad . mid 90s that was a very different design and featured a masked uvf soldier carrying an Amalite . Kinda top trumps a few dozen lads bouncing around in stone island jumpers don’t it ? 

the idea of applying shirters to the supports of rangers and Celtic is kinda missing the point . Look what a few hundred rangers shirters did to Manchester after they lost the uefa cup final 

no one goes and causes carnage in Glasgow , the support is too big and too much for most to comprehend 

except maybe Aberdeen lol
