@gnipper where I grew up it was all racing pigeons but in the estates of Edinburgh it was those doo type huts. I thought it was just the way tumblers and rollers were kept didn't know it was about trapping pigeons. Very interesting

Edinburgh and Glasgow there used to be a lot of doo men, even shops dedicated to it up there.

I got a couple uncles mad for it, an a few mates that have had em since we was kids, a lot folk don’t work them liek used to but prefer to fly em as pairs as pets but still a few at it, numbers do dwindle every year tho

For me, Glasgow people are down to earth, friendly, straightforward. They speak openly about sex.

Edinburgh folk are more remote, consider themselves posher and keep themselves to themselves.

They think 'sex' are devices for holding coal.
