Knitted up a couple of these square meshed sheets for a lad ,, good fun using these nets on open sets .

Seen that Australian fella on youtube using them never really heard of anyone using them here

Interesting way of doing it tbf saves setting loads of pursenets, guess the quick set has taken over now, nice to see traditions being kept tho

excuse my ignorance mate, how are they set? like a traditional stop net?

There's a guy on youtube the aussie ferreter ( might be wrong) but he uses them they seem pretty effective

One of the lads from Australia  wrote about using nets this way ,he used sheet netting just rolled out over warren ,said it made life a lot easier ,I'm not so sure but I've never done it ,they must have some bagging for them to tangle the rabbits ?

We used to drape fruit tree netting over big warrens, just keep pulling it back over.

Iv never seen them used so i may be wrong but lets say this covers 10 holes. Now a rabbit bolts. Suddenly you have 10 un netted holes. If another rabbit bolt from any of those 10 holes it gets away. Also, doesn't it pick up a lot of debris? Or get stuck up on little bushes and so on?

Yeah they are no way as good as purse nets but it does give the dogs a better chance if doing pest control with a few dogs.
