Unless you're an ecologist or conservationist they are probably overkill really aren't they? Gonna stick with the Vortex, lifetime guarantee, doesn't get better than that.

I suppose so mate. The reason i said Lecia an old mate had a pair though he was a keen birdwatcher and when i had a look through them once the clarity was on an other level than a lot of cheaper end binos though you would expect that with the price of them. The vortex look decent and some good reviews about them.
