Alot must live in a kennel aye lol I've concrete floors in my house no insulation wood on top ? I have to tell next door there extension out backs a dog kennel.because there had to have a flat roof couldn't get the pitch fo4 a tile.? In reality a basic box insulated with rock wool would a been more then sufficient people live in caravan on the coast all year in one 50 mm rock wool fi4 insulation Mate I live in a house that dates back to 1054, with add ons through the tudor and Georgian eras...insulation no, double glazing no....but... If I was building a new house I'd insulate the floors, walls and roof..I'd choose a pitched roof as I think they look better for starters, plus give you a vaulted ceiling so increasing head room.... but as with everything else you've probably built more than anyone else on here, there aint much you don't know about eh Edited yesterday at 11:04 by NEWKID 5

It's like anything mate you get what you pay for, they are fairly cheaply made (im talking bog standtadx type), minimal insulation, cheap finishings, mostly plastic etc.. from Wilfs posts he's looking to do a decent robust job, he's got a few acres and I'd say if he's putting something on it A) it needs to look right and B ) be somewhere he's happy for his daughter to live... I don't think he's going for the Gypsy Camp Chic lol Edited yesterday at 12:10 by NEWKID 1
