I do hope so, I hope he gets taken to the cleaners !

Still, the party or the unions will probably pick up the tab for legal fees and any damages so the members will pay…..also good, no more than they deserve !

It’s said he was instructed by Number 10 spinners. If true, Starmer has two choices;

Throw one of his ministers under the bus by disagreeing with him;

Or, agreeing with him and have an army of lawyers looking into HIS background.

Looks like a no -win situation for Starmer.

Farage has only asked for an apology.  He's not threatened legal action. It will fizzle out imo.

But you never know what counts as hate crime or libel these days. So who knows?

Are you aware of the woman from Durham who had a holiday in Israel ?

Two police knocked on her door to “ question her”. 
She asked what about, they said her trip to Israel. 
What did she do there, who did she see there, etc.

She said it was a holiday, she’s a Christian and visited holy sites.

What was the problem, she asked ?

You have been reported to Prevent, the terrorist prevention unit, she was told.

Who reported me she asked, they wouldn’t tell her.

What am I accused of , she asked, they wouldn’t tell her.

What law are you investigating me under, she asked, they wouldn’t tell her .

The press questioned the Chief Constable, he said they were “duty bound” to investigate every complaint.

No further action was taken.

Has anyone on here read, or heard of Kafkas brilliant book “ The Trial”

Somebody, in facts thousands of people, somewhere think that is all completely logical and OK…..you can spot these type of people by listening for phrases like “If you’ve done nothing wrong you have nothing to fear” and similar such idiotic nonsense !

Are you sure there were no small boats before 2018?? ...

From 2012 right through till 2019 me the Mrs and kids were travelling across to France every summer on the ferrey....and every year  Calais was full of illegal immigrants.....they had that big camp there just outside the town...we would see thousands of them ...trying to get in trucks or people's cars caravans etc...

So I'm sure some f****r nipped in to Decathlon and bought a dingy and gave it a go

Well obviously I can't be dead sure a few didn't try and were succesful.

But as you say the preferred method to gain entry was by vehicle in those days.

Most people of a certain age will know of lorry drivers who would risk smuggling people in for a grand or two.

My kids had  stowaways on their school trip to Belgium.

But the boat trips en masse started after Brexit. No dispute about that.

I was in Gran Canaria two years back and witnessed some Senagalese immigrants landing in a small boat. They looked in bad shape. I read their route is mega dangerous but they are willing to risk it. I also read that the majority are given farm work all over Spain.
