The first schools were set up by industrialists and land owners who wanted to better educated their work force…..its win/win…..

In the leftist world, nothing matters as long as the rich loose….period !

It’s a nasty little, self defeating mindset.

In reality, not everyone is going to be equal…..that’s just life.

Some people are clever, some are industrious, some meticulous, some have little education but good ethics and some are out and out morons……that’s just life, you can’t work to the lowest common denominator all the time and reward the moron at the expense of all the others.

You don’t punish him either, but you have to accept what he is….he can’t help it, nothing to be done about it.

All you do is encourage more morons and less of all the others…..and you find yourself exactly where we are at !

Meritocracy is good, looking after your own is good, creating an environment where people can be kind instead of having to crawl up each others back for the last penny just to survive another day is good…..if you want to see if something works look at the results !

We have us back in the day and we have us now……which worked better ?

Now you've gone and spoiled it by that forelock tugging and hat doffing.

The rich man in his castle. The poor man at his gate.

God made them high and lowly and ordered their estate.

Thats what we've grown up and it's utter, utter bollocks.

So  a fag paper between us. The tory party has ruled the country for much of this century and they've roughed up the British people more and more with each new government. Labour used to 'tory light'. They are not even that anymore. As the honorable member for the North East said no matter which party you vote for you get the same party. Or words similar.

Of course the left are full of dogma and spend more time falling out with each other and pursuing remote causes no one gives two fucks about.  Certainly not working people.   But the right are equally dogmatic. This country has sold all our assets off in the name of 'free enterprise'. Bollocks. We should own our water, our post office our railways and our energy. The last fifty years has been a free for all for the right. We've lost everything to venture capitalists..often foreigners. Politicians should facilitate our lives. Make them better. But they have become a class of their own serving their masters...the very rich.

Other countries do it a lot better. Can you imagine the French taking it up the arse decade after decade like we do? And they, historically have always been surrender monkeys.lol

What you describe is internationalism mate, as advocated by Ramsay McDonald and various other liberal types in various guises of whatever political party.

There is room for the state as long as it’s light touch and understand the things where it is a net benefit….again, that’s how it used to be.

That’s not what we do now, “the state” used to mean “your state”……now it means something else.

Again, you may have felt like you had to tug the forelock but I never have…I’ve stood and had conversations with tramps and lords (that’s true) and never felt anything less or more than just me…..I’ve lived my own life, what a lord did never affected me, how could it ? It can’t !
If Lord what’s his name buys another load of land it never stopped me selling 90 ton of iron to the scrap yard and putting the money in my pocket did it ?
He is happy, I’m happy, everyone’s happy…….your detox still has a way to go I see old chap ! lol

Yes sorry about that. I'm back in the room now.

Politics is about power and who gets what. The last fifty years in the UK has seen a tremendous shift of power and wealth to the rich. The stats show this.  This country has gone back the way.  Big time. Its not the natural order of things that has caused this . Its rightist dogma. How many other countries have their utilities owned by other countries and their f****n water! Privatised?

Blood pressure dangerously high. Off to  cut my hedges. Go to keep the peasants  out.

This one will send you right over the edge……

There is a strong argument to say that our nation was at its greatest when the aristocracy were still the ones who got elected to parliament…..before we started paying politicians and any prick could be one !

The argument is, they didn’t need the money, they still governed in the interests of the nation !…….

Its an argument not without merit !

I wasn’t being rude not responding properly, it’s just my reply to the “who & why” will be rather long and winding.

Ill do it when I have a minute because I think we all suspect it in the back of our head but it’s a wormhole we don’t have time to explore because there are way more pressing matters at hand.

I know what your saying but there ain’t no point in putting out a flame when the fire still burns.

I agree but the reality is, people can’t be bothered to think about the situation outside their front door never mind explore further than that…..it’s asking mental defectives to play against chess grand masters…..in an ideal world they could, but we all know they can’t.

The left have always thought if you are not in complete agreement with their political dogma you are automatically far right.

Theres no inbetween  to them.
But it is possible to believe in zero illegal immigration, strictly controlled legal immigration, free market , capitalist society, etc, AND fair wages and conditions, decent social housing, the NHS, welfare and benefits where they are needed. The left despise aspiration, Communism has never worked , nor wealth redistribution. It only lasts for a short while and the feckless waste their wealth and the entrepreneurial put theirs to work…..and then you’re back to square one; the have’s and the have nots.

The working classes in the UK have always been Conservative with a small “c” but have generally voted Labour and hated the Tory’s, but that is changing now with Labour and the Tory’s being a “uniparty”.

Voter’s are looking for alternatives and thinking “ let’s give these a try , they can’t be worse than the other lot.”.

Just my “ ultra far right” opinions of course ! LOL !

Cheers.

I don’t know if you have ever read the opening chapters of Mein Kampf mate but it’s a conversation almost all of us will have, every day of the week with almost anyone we meet…..it’s sums up our situation perfectly !

And this isn’t after eighty years of “far right” governments…..this is after eighty years of socialism and internationalism !
Folks can draw their own conclusions from that.
