Maybe that or sepsis Yeah, quite young, it definitely wasn't sepsis. Always one of those what if's, if the GP and done a more thorough job maybe it would have been discovered before he collapsed and died. I can't believe he didn't check his blood pressure when he went complaining of being unusually out of breath just walking up street, my gran bless her told the doctor after he'd passed and he wouldn't look her in the face. It's sickening to see how badly things are broken. The full story is. My son in laws dad had been ill for a while . He was a diabetic, and had been ill with a couple of other things . My son in law lives just north of Birmingham, and was doing deliveries for curry's. He was up near derby early one morning, when he dad called him . His dad said can you come and help me(he lived in london) , I'm really ill , and I can't get an ambulance. My son in law set out from derby , picked his car up near Birmingham on the way through , and headed to London , all the time on the phone to his dad , whose was getting worse . My son in law was calling his relatives, to try to get someone to his dad , but couldn't raise anyone . He called the police , who went to his dads flat , but they couldn't kick the door in , without permission from the council ( who they couldnt contact), or his dad ( who was semi concious on the bathroom floor). He finally got hold of his uncle , who arrived at the same time as my son in law and the ambulance . When they all went into the flat , it was too late . The ambulance crew confirmed that he was dead , and left , and the police officers told my son in law to leave his dad on the bathroom floor , in case it needed to be investigated further , then left. My son in law and his uncle , carried his dad to the bedroom, washed the vomit and blood off him , and dressed him , before calling the undertaker. It's just as well they didn't leave him laying on the bathroom floor , because he was buried just over a year ago , and they still haven't heard back from the f***ing police ! . It was absolutely heart breaking.
