have to disagree mate why would anyone try all different types when you have what you need ? you try all different types as a novice until you find your feet and find what is needed 

and i would say training and  getting a dog right for competition is the easiest thing to do just getting one in condition 

now getting one in comdiotion and peaking it at the right time over 5 month with all that can happen when there hard at it thats another thing

The best preparation for a fight is a fight. Once you get them in good enough condition before the season starts and you run them regularly and wisely then it's all there on a plate for you.

And talking about bull cross owners, that's what many do wrong, they have them penned up all season and then throw them in the back of the motor and expect them to perform like machines and then wonder why they run like beach donkeys. Lol

it’s not mate when there worked hard you can easily become flat if you aint on the ball not eneough work and they will loose a traction with the game it’s a fine line trust me

You just don’t get it !

Wnning a Racing Championship with a whippet is the pinnacle of whippet racing, and getting the dog ready, at the peak of condition for that once a year event is an achievement in itself.

Then to change breeds and win events with Salukis and greyhounds means, to me, that the man knew his stuff and wanted different challenges .

Completely different types and events.
