The local swan feeding nuts started putting food down for the rats specifically and posting photos on Facebook of how cute they were! Mostly mental f***ing women, some of the photos looked like the Indian rat temple the amount crowded round bowls. Council put up signs in the end which stopped the nutter's feeding rats but the arseholes are still chucking stuff all over for bird's.

They do my head in , just when you think you’ve got on top of them loads more appear . I put one coop up last year and they were there in no time and the feeds off the floor so it’s not like there was food on the floor for them . My big coop didn’t have any for over a year then they suddenly appeared. I did clear that shed and it was clear for a while but I noticed they were back last weekend . I’ve used a bit of poison over winter but mainly trapped them in my fen’s and I’ve had loads . My mate at the back of me has had loads in his traps and my mate at the side as been poisoning along with the bloke at the other side . There’s a woman on the way down to my pen that feeds all the wild birds by putting handfuls of seed down all the way from where you park down to her pen . She’s been told to stop because she’s feeding the rats but she just carries on

Sounds like someone we knew used to do It her name is not loopy Linda

I find it madness that this disease leptospirosis is not made more aware to the dangers posed by rat's that carry it as like has been said on other posts about lunatics thinking they are quite animals instead of desiese carrying vermin. I remember killing one with a shovel at work and a woman in the office witnessed it and went barmy and was nearly in tears and went whinging to a manager who put her right and said I did right to flatten it.

I was threshing one day when one of the old boys who was pitch forking with me suddenly held onto a rat on his inner thigh that had run up his trousers,i had to grab hold of thee rat and hold it as he took off his trousers and then chuck his trousers to my terriers who dealt with the rat as it run out of them. The fella was screaming the whole time not to let it bite his dick and we were all howling so much we nearly couldn't help him..

Think I have told the story before about a farm house in Derbyshire we went to. The old boy was a hoarder and was living and sleeping in one chair. The house was full of rats, he was buying sacks of dog food to feed em. He died of a heart attack on front door step and the rats eat the skin off his face. When we turned up to deal with the rats we opened the front door and they all came running thinking it was feeding time. We walked straight out and drove back to Lancashire for the terriers.

Last year I went to an old couples house in Bolton, she was feeding the rats, had a family of em living under her chair in the front room, house stunk of em. The old bloke and neighbors wanted em gone but he wouldn't without the woman's agreement. Eventually she went in hospital with a bad chest and I went in and did em. You couldn't breathe in there for the smell of rats
