that's the problem finding something that's grafting because if you haven't seen the dog work you only going on stud dog owners word ,I was looking for a stud for my bitch and ended up with 3 to choose from : bedy x grey bedy x whippet would have been ideal but even though the owner reckons the dog works she said it was only 2 yr old so it's not seen much so I was left with a really nice working whippet a mate keeps but my bitch fcuking hates him ,we tried to get them together but she wasn't having it and I'm not one for muzzleing up dogs to mate so I used a mate's dog ,he's mostly retired now at 8 but he's put plenty away in his time and hopefully between him and my first x I get something bit bigger and stronger .

Couldn’t you use Artificial inseminatiom with the dog you wanted? I know people who’ve done this and you get the stud dog you want.

You can but it doesn't always work and to be honest, I think I used the right dog over her and If she's taken I'll keep the biggest dog pup and I can place 3/4 pups with mates and if we any left they will go at the cost of a bag of feed and chip,dew claws .
