made the mistake of wearing shorts whilst out on friday.bloody mossies got me up and down both legs ffs.have not been bit this bad since i was in canada in 88.bright side though my hay fever has not kicked in yet 🙂.

Red Tiger balm or similar helps. I suffer all year round here from the cnuts. I also have the white Tiger balm that I put on exposed skin to prevent bites. I smell like a Thai boxing gym most of the time but I’d rather that than scrattin like a dog with mange :laugh:

Mozzie Central, and black flies and tics. Horse flies in the UK and midges in Scotland are as bad.

Used to rub Elderflower leafs on to deter Midges. Don't know if it really works but never seem to suffer from them.

A new study found mosquitoes the length and breadth of Scotland due to ‘warmer weather’. They love a bit of scare mongering do the BBC. Remember 30 or more years ago fishing in the Southern highlands and getting bitten to death by ‘continental style’ mosquitoes, so they haven’t suddenly just arrived.
