Practice ammo

Morning guys I'm wanting some ammo for me and my lad to practice with what's best sort of ammo to practice with would you say out there today. We've Been messing about now for good few months and not hit much lol. I've been looking at the clay ammo

Stick with steel or lead mate and make a catch box or buy one of them steers catch box. I have seen them clay balls on ebay but have never bothered with them to be honest.

I use the same for practicing as I use for my shooting 10mm, tried the clay balls and they didn’t seem to fly property

I've a catch box here like a mesh type thing with some flimsy bars inside. Had to tie wrap them up cheap shite. Be lucky if a can hit inside the catch box. Like a nobhead a put one through my aviary window on door few months back. Lucky a didnf take one of birds heads off. Be my luck only thing I'll kill my price bird

Definitely practice with the same ammo you intend on hunting with. Also the same set up. Find a fork and bands your happy with and stick to them until your hitting your target  

I would say steel balls are your best bet.

I was having a look at the Temu page (top of the page) and was staggered by how many catapults and different ammo’s are available for next to nowt. Well worth a look imo. Jok

Bangers,knock your lad up one of these,using an old diesel jack.. flatten a cardboard box,put in the back...old rod rest and tie on your targets with some fishing line...catch all your ammo then pal
