Snipersling .6 23-17 taper ive been using just invested in a few  different tapered rulers thought I'd give em a try. But usually use 20-12 with the 8mm tho

Been using sumeike 0.55 but noticed they drop alot with 8.7s  but spot on with just 8s, gonna go up a thickness plus I seem to get more shots with sumeike than I do with the snipersling too unless it's the way I tie em to the pouch maybe because most say snipersling is long lasting unless it's the black

Good shooting. I find the little steel good when ya shooting in places abit public better than a 14mm steel dinging off a branch

Cheers mate...  yeh I've had few shoulder n back hits when they have been pin balling  about in the woods. 14mm tho bet they are like cannon balls  what taper n thickness do u need for that size ammo?

Shoot loads of different elastics if flatband 1mm 25-20 sometimes 1.2 or 2mm tapered real thin. Shoot tube upto harpoon its just finding something that ya get on with at the time isnt it.

Yeh your right definitely is, I'm yet to try tubes gonna have to give em try out sometime.

I prefer 9.5 just because I have shot rabbits in the head they have gone down as if dead only to rise back up within seconds using 8mm steel. If it works for you then use it but you need to be a lot more accurate with 8mm.

here's the weight difference between a 8mm steel a 8.7mm steel and a 8.4mm lead .personally I don't use 8mm now i use 8.7mm steels or the 8.4mm leads and the only taper I use on everything is 18-23 and no thicker than 0.65 unless it's Sniper sling yellow or green then I use 0.70 and I hunt very well with these like .just thought I would add this mabey help with getting your taper n that fixed for your lead ammo .( I will just put the weights of other ammo I have here so if anyone is is wanting to know the weights there here )
