Record keeping

Just wondered if any fellow hunters kept accurate records of quarry taken.

I have always kept an accurate record as very interested in figures and how things change.

I know FD might but anyone else rather than the usual pub talk...I've had millions

Here's my figures :

Fox 1444

Rabbit 14587

Brown Hare 1294

Blue Hare 59

Squirrel 542

Roe 966

Red 31

Sika 40

Fallow 41

CWD 15

Muntjac 47

Goat 12

Boar 2

I know a lot depends on which part of the country you live as regards animal population densities. 

Up here only roe so had to travel a lot for other deer species.

Ok well I do know as a collective we’ve killed 22,893 rats on the chicken farm we do mate .That’s terriers after the sheds pulled and shooting at night .Added to it last night .I’ll look up the others when I’m home mate .Out waiting for a fox at moment that isn’t playing ball .Pissing down here but I’m in mates truck .

Winds bearable mate but I reckon this rain is keeping foxy away tbh .

Buggers dug part way under a shed last night before getting disturbed .Another hour and we are out of here .

Seeing many bucks , I'm seeing more bucks than does .

We are watching one now Mark .Only 70 m or so .Got a client next Thursday wants a meat hunt so couple of culls to go .

My recent doe cull hasn’t helped the buck numbers mate .They have scattered tbh .Needed doing but there tis .
