lurchergrrl 1,441
As I posted in a previous thread, my first lurcher was called Griff. He was 19 months old when he was killed two weeks ago. I was walking him along the canal, having a right good play with him. He wandered ahead, went under a train bridge, and by the time I'd followed him through the other side, he must've run up onto the tracks and he was hit by a train It was the most traumatic thing I've ever experienced in my life, the image of him like that haunts me. Griff was my best mate: great with kids, all other dogs, anyone he met thought he really was something special. And so did I. Hope the 'hard' element on here won't take the mick out of me for saying this: I miss that dog so much, some days I can hardly focus on anything. I put this together for him. Just wanted to share it; hope you dont mind. http://www.onetruemedia.com/shared?p=4c0c8...medium=text_url

mistwalker 0
Me and Mrs Misty just broke our hearts watching that! What a great tribute to a very special friend. As a wise man told me a few years ago - "You can always find another woman - it's soooo much harder finding a good dog!" RIP Griff
